Course Objectives
Effective business management systems are essential in maximizing organizational performance. This two-day course is designed to help attendees recognize the influence that suppliers, internal customers and external customers have on improving business results. It will also provide participants with the introductory knowledge, skills and attributes necessary to implement and apply continual improvement processes.
Upon the completion of this course, participants will be able to:
Understand the concepts and principles of Continual Business Improvement (CBI)
Analyze alternatives to traditional work practices to improve business results
Understand factors that increase commitment to CBI through leadership and teamwork
Examine how positive internal and external relationships affect improvement results
Demonstrate how to maximize a competitive advantage by minimizing variation and reducing cost
Develop problem solving skills that support the CBI process in the workplace
Outline a framework to encourage the development of practical action plans to be implemented on returning to the workplace
