Course Objectives
Environmental Management Systems Auditing for Quality Management System Experienced Auditors is intended to be a bridge course for auditors whose organizations are moving toward performing integrated systems audits. The course is intended for experienced auditors who have demonstrated competency in evaluating business process performance. The course will familiarize the auditors with the principles and requirements to perform a comprehensive assessment of environmental management systems as it relates to the ISO 14000 series of standards.

Prerequisites

Each student is required to have studied the current published version of ISO 14001 prior to attending the course.
Each student should have competence in the generic knowledge and skills and quality-specific knowledge and skills as identified in Clause 7 of the current version of ISO 19011. Each student must have successfully completed a QMS Lead Auditor Course prior to attending the course.
