TS 16949 Consulting
The SAI Global approach is to develop a four-phase implementation plan with defined milestones and deliverables customized to reinforce the objectives of the organization. The activities for each phase are summarized below. What makes the SAI Global approach unique is the diversity of experience and depth of knowledge of our consulting staff. Our personnel have been involved with the initial development of the ISO 9000 series and remain active participants today. Several of our consultants have also worked closely with the committee membership in the development of ISO/TS 16949:2002.

While international standards such as ISO/TS 16949:2002 and ISO 14001:2004 provide a set of requirements for a management system, it must be more than that to enable a business to grow and compete. The "business management system" must become what we do every day to satisfy our customers and run a profitable and productive enterprise. Most consulting organizations engagements end with the goal of certification. Whether you are transitioning from QS-9000 or implementing an ISO/TS 16949 quality management system from scratch, SAI Global believes that certification, while important, is a step on a longer journey focusing on ongoing improvement.
SAI Global consultants have the unique ability to utilize a wide variety of improvement tools such as Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Business Excellence Assessments, to name a few. Our focus is always on how these and other tools will meld into the culture of the company and at the same time demonstrate both practical and useful benefits to the company, its employees and its everyday operations. Without adding value to the organization, the registration and everything that supports it is meaningless.
