Who Should Attend
EH&S auditors seeking RCMS auditor certification. Note that auditors who have successfully completed ISO 14001 certification training may also qualify as RC14001 auditors with the completion of this course. This course, by itself, will not provide RC14001 training.
Employees of American Chemistry Council and SOCMA member companies who wish to learn how to audit the RCMS®
Please note:
This course is designed to teach Responsible Care® background and detailed requirements of the Responsible Care Management System® to EH&S auditors who wish to become certified Responsible Care® auditors. Other requirements for certification include relevant educational background, related work experience and actual auditing experience.
Prerequisites
Each student is required to have studied the current published version of the “Responsible Care® Management System Technical Specification” prior to attending the course.
RC14001 auditor candidates must have successfully completed an accredited 5-day Environmental Management System (EMS) lead auditor course.
