Course Objectives
This 3-day course is designed for those who are new to auditing and to ISO/TS 16949 requirements. Attendees of this course will learn to audit to the requirements of ISO/TS 16949 using process-based auditing techniques. Interactive workshops, simulated audits, tutorials and case studies are used to develop practical audit skills, improve evaluation and communication skills, refine reporting skills and sharpen your ability to implement corrective action programs. Attendees will also gain an understanding of customer oriented processes (COPs), as well as the Customer-specific requirements defined by the OEM’s. This course includes continuous assessment of attendee understanding and an exam on the final day.

This course utilizes ISO/TS 16949:2002 as the reference standard for quality management system requirements.
